Background
Digitalisation and AI are important areas for achieving energy efficiency and deep
decarbonisation in industry. For that reason, the International Energy Agency created the
Industrial Energy-related Technologies and Systems (IETS) as an international Technology
Collaboration Program

The Swedish contribution to the international networking is performed through the Sweden. Industrial Digitalisation Consortium, initiated by the Swedish Energy Agency, and operated by RISE It also serves as a national networking community.

The current focus areas for collaboration and networking, in both the international and the
Swedish organisations, are:
  • Innovative AI methods for industrial energy systems
  • Metrics for a comparable, standardised assessment of AI applications
  • Sustaining AI methods integration in Digital Twins – systems perspective
  • Techno-social Consideration of AI and Digitalisation in Digital Twins
Technology roadmap for further development of AI approaches.

The Sweden Industrial Digitalisation Consortium kindly invites you to our upcoming workshop:

Built to Last: Making Industrial Digitalisation Work.
The workshop will explore prerequisites for successful AI and Digital Twin integration strategies,  focusing on the alignment of technical and business requirements, resource utilisation, and long-term scalability. We will discuss cross-functional collaboration, post-implementation, long-term business impacts, and knowledge transfer and tacit.

The workshop is a cooperation between the Sweden Industrial Digitalisation Consortium
workshop series for collaboration with the international work in the IETS TCP and the Task XVII.

The workshop agenda will be communicated closer to the date.
